Accepted into Chicago Booth MBA program. Can't thank you enough, Poonam!
I had worked with Poonam four years back, but I could not complete the application due to a family medical emergency. This year, when I again decided to pursue an MBA, I reached out to her. Honesty, the first thing I wished was that Poonam should have the bandwidth to work with me. Luckily, she did. I admire Poonam for her commitment during the review process, and I feel comfortable working with her. I like that she is very professional and always expects the best out of the applicant in drafting essays and resume, and until that happens, she will not let that the applicant go.
The counseling sessions were helpful as I was able to understand her expectations regarding the essay structure and the flow of ideas. I also appreciate and thank her for flexibility in scheduling another call, which was not part of our initial agreement. One of the best things about her service is that she is candid with her guidance on the essay content. When she did not like the content, she straight away asked me to update with new content that addressed the essay prompt better. While working with her, I was confident that if she were convinced with the essay content, then the admission committee would also like it.
Coherent organization of details is another strong component of her service. After working with her, I realized that I should improve a lot on the structure and organization. She is skilled in asking relevant questions to get the right content from you and help you present your story in the best way possible. She always put in efforts to trim the essays to the allowed word limits by making appropriate sentence structure changes.
Poonam’s guidance on my résumé was equally valuable. I was impressed with her thought process in getting the best resume. She made sure that I brought out my achievements in the resume in a quantitative manner. She was always patient enough to hear my queries and answer the same. I never had any hesitation in asking any questions about the application, as I was very comfortable working with her.
Her response time was also perfect. She reverted within the timeline that is promised on her website (24-48 hours), sometimes even earlier. She went above and beyond my expectations, as listed on the MER website. Given another opportunity, I will be glad to work with her again.
I am delighted with the overall service Poonam provided. I am happy to say that I am accepted into my dream school, Chicago Booth. Without Poonam, it would not have been possible. I will be very pleased and happy to refer her to the prospective applicants.

Accepted into Kellogg MBA Program- Thank you Poonam
I signed up for MER for essays and recommendation services for my MBA application. MER offers an extensive list of services, and the overall price was reasonable. For my Essays, I had a 90-minute counseling session with Poonam. During this time, she understood my profile and brainstormed ideas from my past experiences. She provided suggestions on my responses and edited the draft by correcting sentence structures and grammar, and finally articulated my story clearly in the essays and ROL. All this was done in a very short time. After submitting my application, I got accepted into Kellogg!
For prospective MBA Applicants, I strongly recommend Poonam services and I'm glad I chose her services.

Working with Poonam from MyEssayReview was a fantastic experience from start to finish and a successful one. Poonam is diligent and efficient with her work, and on my short timeline, this was critical. She was able to push the pace to give us plenty of time to work diligently, with time to spare. I had two very rough drafts, and Poonam was able to take a tailored approach to each one, which helped me develop them into well-told stories that I couldn’t have been happier with.
The 1-hour skype session was fantastic for establishing rapport and understanding of each other’s style and personality. I felt that we were able to introduce ourselves, establish goals and objectives, and also answer initial questions on the prompts and drafts within an hour. We did some brainstorming as well and were able to come up with a game plan efficiently. I felt that my voice and story were well-understood from the first time I submitted a draft. The skype session reinforced this, and I was comfortable with the tone of each edit and how it matched my intent.
Writing has never been my strength, and from the beginning, Poonam learned about the stories I wanted to tell and the personality I wanted to shine through, providing feedback on how to achieve that. Poonam helped me break down both prompts much better than I had on my own and weave everything together in a way that was consistent and meaningful. I struggled a lot in organizing my thoughts. It was a blessing to have my words restructured in meaningful ways; the edit tracking helped see the progression and rationale behind each change.
My questions were always addressed in a timely manner. The dialogue was always open, and the turnaround time was better than the 48-hour target. She was very diligent and timely in returning drafts and revisions ahead of schedule, which helped me finish both essays on a very short timeline and apply earlier than I thought I’d be able to. Poonam also took the time to bring in additional resources, sharing examples she had worked on for similar prompts when I was struggling to communicate a story the way I wanted.
Everything was fantastic, and I appreciate the accelerated service. I am accepted into Kellogg’s part-time MBA program. I would recommend MER services and plan to online and to friends.

I signed up for a 3- schools comprehensive package with MER for getting better guidance and support from an expert to shape up the resume and write essays. I was happy with the services from day one. The counseling session for school selection was beneficial as she pointed out how various other factors besides the GMAT score range plays a role in shortlisting Schools. After selecting schools, we started working on stories. The initial questionnaire Poonam made me fill out was extremely helpful as it already had all the questions which ultimately provided stories for almost all the B school essays that I applied to.
For all the essays, the initial idea on what to write, how to proceed, and what stories to select through the questionnaire was beneficial in writing the best possible version of my stories. It was beyond my imagination how she helped with the structure and organization of all my essays and made the story flow so smoothly. MER's editing skills are excellent- not only in correcting my grammar part but also in trimming the essays to the specified word limit. Most of the time I thought it was not possible to remove a particular sentence or reduce the word limit. Still, she edited and reorganized it in such a way that none of my stories were unsaid, and yet everything was well within the word limit. The resume building was excellent. In the course of 4 edits, my resume was transformed into a robust one-page MBA resume that highlighted my professional growth, accomplishments, academic career, extracurricular activities, and volunteer work. I liked how she made me write three to four lines for each role and then edited it to just one-liner, making my resume look incredibly professional.
To me, MER is a complete professional when it comes to answering queries. Even though she said she would not get back on weekends, on more than one instance, she replied to my emails even on weekends, which was extremely helpful to me, given my time constraints at work. As stipulated on the MER website, her response time was never more than two days, and at the same time, she never compromised on the quality of work. In many essays, she helped me with mitigating weaknesses, which I did not realize were pulling down my writing. It is those small corrections and nuances that have helped me develop my writing skills in the long run. Initially, I had a tough time making my recommenders take time and write my LOR, but she was very supportive and understanding even when there was a delay on my part. All the corrections and suggestions have helped me submit a great LOR from my recommenders. The mock interview was spot on. The comprehensive feedback on the mock interview, both verbal and written, was constructive in correcting my mistakes before the real one. I was fortunate that the interviewers in the actual interviews asked me only those questions that we had already discussed in the mock interview.
I appreciate the professionalism Poonam maintained during the entire duration of this process. Even when there was a delay from my side due to unavoidable reasons, she ensured she did her best to make sure that I submitted my applications well before the deadlines.
Poonam, I cannot thank you enough for your guidance, support, and patience throughout the application process. I have been accepted into Terry School of Business with Scholarships and Assistantship worth around $30K and Maryland Smith with a $50K Scholarship totally for two years.
Without a doubt, if I come across any prospective students, I will recommend MER services to them.

Poonam helped me put the finishing touches on my essays, which gave me the engaging story I needed to earn a place at a coveted M7. While another consultant helped me get started crafting drafts of my essays, I wasn't satisfied with the final product. Poonam was recommended to me based on her creative writing style. After an in-depth Skype discussion to understand content and structure, Poonam began helping me edit and revise my essays to be more poignant and convincing. Her turnaround time was impressive, and her edits always moved the ball forward. I would highly recommend her services for anyone struggling with their essay writing.

Loved working with Poonam Mam, #myEssayReview
I am an e-GMAT student, and I got to know about Poonam Mam from a free session via e-GMAT. I instantly liked it, then I read a few more reviews about her and her dedication towards admission consulting. I wanted to work with her the day I got over with my GMAT.
After my GMAT, I contacted Poonam mam. She was on a work tour but nevertheless she replied to my email and said that she would have free session with me, the first thing when she comes back. I was still left with another attempt to my GMAT exam and was in a dilemma whether to start the application work. She kept her promise, she remembered me and set up a session with me. The session lasted well beyond the stipulated time. She was so very patient and heard my confusion, my various questions and tried to answer them all. She advised me to finish off with my exam and then concentrate on my applications as I could not have managed both. She never tried to persuade me to take her services instead gave me all knowledge she could impart about applications so that I take the best decisions. Not many consultants do such a thing!
She was so warm and honest. I decided that day that I will work her. We finally started working on my Oxford Application and LORs. She was so very punctual about the work she delivers, she was always before time, answered all queries over mail, our first essay drafting session was so useful: she explained each and everything we could put in the essay, all the changes she wanted me to make, the positives and negatives. I felt very confident about the final product. After I reworked the essay, I could feel the difference. She was so detailed in her reviews that you would not have any doubts. The final product was crisp and perfect. I was very happy with my application from within. I joined her on a very short notice but even then, she made sure I had my essays perfectly written and before time. I admire the fact that she is so organized. I am a very anxious person who is not very organized and very fussy about the products I need to make. Poonam mam was very patient, structured and knew the art of perfection. She was also worried about the sleepless nights I was spending for application and took out time to inquire about my health, advised me to take care and not be so stressed.
Though I did not make it to Oxford, I was very happy with my application and confident too. I knew essays were not the reason I could not get in. I got admits from a number of universities where I used the LORs edited by her. Even now, when I mail her regarding which university to join, she promptly replies, gives suggestions and asks me for further queries.
Poonam mam is one of the best persons I have come across, along with the professionalism and commitment she is a wonderful person besides being the best consultant. I will work with her in future when needed and do recommend her services!

"Best Admission service w/o burning your savings"
I signed up for MER services because it provides the services I need at a low price. The one-hour counseling session was very informative, provided helpful advice for my essays, and answers my questions about the prompts and application process. Also, she helped me incorporate the defining principles from respective schools (Haas and UCLA) in my essays to make them stand out. She understood my stories very well, I particularly liked the initial questionnaire, which asked just about everything about my life. It forced me to write and helped me understand my own story, which helped a lot during the actual essay-writing process. I appreciate that in addition to normal editing, she restructured my essays to make them flow better and helped me to make them stay on topic by deleting unnecessary sentences and asking relevant questions to make my essays more complete.

"myEssayReview – the perfect gateway to your dream"
I signed up for MER services to seek support and guidance to apply for full time MBA program for fall 2019 intake. I signed up for comprehensive package for 3 universities and additionally 6 essays package to apply for other universities. I was a student of e-GMAT online courses and MER was referred by e-GMAT. However, I made an extensive research on the GMAT club forum and found out that though she is among the top 5 consultants globally for MBA admission services, the fare charged by her for her services was half of that charged by other equally qualified consultants. Secondly, other equally renowned consultants were firms that employed writers whereas in MER, the founder, Madam Poonam took up the job herself and attended each candidate individually.
I had a one-hour counseling session on 18.09.2018. The session was really fruitful. Madam Poonam patiently listened to my entire story on education, work experience and community service experience and broadly outlined the list of universities that I could target. She strongly conveyed in the first counseling session that I should not apply to the same universities that I applied last year but failed to get through because I could not improve my GMAT score from the score I had secured the previous year.
Resume building was the most challenging part of my application as I not only have 9 years of work experience but also have a few outside of work interests. Consequently, I had a lot to list in my resume, but she took tremendous efforts to ensure that only the best of my experiences found its place in my resume. My resume underwent at least 4 edits and 2 layout changes. In the entire process, she was only suggestive and did not enforce her ideas on me. Finally, we prepared an impressive one-page resume with quality content and with balanced view on my work and outside of work experiences.
Understanding the profile starts with a questionnaire of 17 questions. She starts this process well in advance so that we do not miss out important contents even while applying to the first university. This sets up the base for a complete understanding of the profile of any candidate which will come handy in the later stages of application. Maximum disclosure of information during this stage can result into a best application as she positions stories from the information that candidates furnish at this stage.
She often said that for my work experience I had a lot to write but the real challenge was to present the story within prescribed word limits. So whenever I wrote essays, I presented her with at least 100 words more than that prescribed by the university and left a tough task for her to work on. She would realign the content, trim the sentences short, and paraphrase the content to make the story more compelling and effective. Though I always tried to present full story to ensure not to miss out anything, she knew better on what to present and what to eliminate. This helped us in preparing exciting stories.
She is excellent in her editing skills. The most interesting aspect of working with her was that she never dismissed any of the word that I used in my essay for the sake of improving the essay or using an English rich in vocabulary. The final draft of any essay remained purely mine but just improvised in grammar and punctuation. Her qualification in English, her experience in this field and her students getting admitted to top B-schools stand testimony to her editing and persuasive story-writing skills.
Poonam promptly addressed all my queries during the essay writing phase and later. Whenever my suggestions were acceptable, she incorporated them in her edits. Whenever I experimented or thought a better content and questioned her on the suitability of the new content, she constantly encouraged me to think new and think better. I asked her numerous questions on low GMAT score, choice of universities and job prospects overseas even before starting the application. But she addressed all queries to my satisfaction.
She is very particular in maintaining the turnaround time. She not only maintains a strict timeline but also expects candidates to adhere to the timelines. Any draft that I sent for edit returned back within 48 hours. Strict devotion to timelines helped us complete the applications for 7 universities in 75 days. She was highly helpful in my interview preparation. She provided me with a brief on do’s and don’ts during the interview along with a list of probable questions. This information material provided me a clear framework as to how I should structure my interview response. The mock interview was an exact simulation of the interview by the admissions committee of any B-School. She gave me a detailed oral and written feedback on each question raised during the interview and my responses to those questions. This detailed feedback helped me to work on my weaknesses and perform better during the real interview.
LOR is one of the crucial components of the application. I worked with her on a common GMAC prescribed LOR form which had four questionnaires with responses up to 500 words. As the admissions committee highly values the opinion of the direct supervisor, endorsement of the candidate’s qualities by the direct supervisor is very important. She was instrumental in highlighting my strengths, unmatched contribution in key areas and unique qualities through the eyes of my supervisors.
Mitigating weaknesses and highlighting strengths is the real strength of Madam Poonam, I would say. I availed the services of another consultant and applied for two universities last year, but I did not get through. This year, though my profile has not bettered much, I have applied for universities that are better in terms of ranking and reputation. I have been interviewed by 5 schools, waitlisted by two (Simon and Georgetown), and accepted by one (Schulich). The only aspect that created a difference in my candidature this time was the ability to highlight my strengths and mitigate the weaknesses while preparing my application. She had a very important role in that. Through the application process, she already gave me a glimpse of how an MBA program would be and partly prepared me for the program.
I am very happy to have worked with one of the best experts and mentors in the admissions process for an affordable price. My only suggestion to my fellow aspirants is that it depends on each individual candidate to get the best out of her as a qualified director extracts superior performance from an actor. I highly recommend Madam Poonam to my fellow MBA aspirants.

Essay and Resume Review
Writing an effective essay for an MBA program is not an easy task. It takes not only good writing skills but also good knowledge of how Universities want to hear your history. The limited word count makes it even more challenging.
After doing my homework and reading several reviews online, I identified Poonam as the best resource to help me. Her pricing is competitive, and her clients are satisfied. After my first 30 min conversation with her, I confirmed that she was the one. The one-hour counseling session was very comprehensive where Poonam helped me identify what stories I should share in my essays. Poonam was very good at understanding my profile. Without her support, I wouldn’t have been able to organize my story. Poonam gave me the structure/pointers I should follow, and she also demonstrated with examples where I failed to address the content properly.
Poonam’s editing skills are excellent. I liked her editing system; it makes it easier on both of us. Whenever I had any queries/concerns, she quickly provided me very straightforward and objective responses. Regarding timelines, Poonam followed the established timelines that we both had agreed upon before enrolling for her services.
Poonam, you were instrumental to my success. I couldn't have done it without you! THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

IMD is very selective and only asks for 1 essay so I knew that my essay had to be perfect to get in. Accordingly, I decided to invest in essay review services to increase my chances. After quite a lot of research, reading reviews, etc. I came across "myEssayReview" and started talking with Poonam. Poonam knows what she is doing and is always very helpful. One thing that I really liked about her services is that she helps you and corrects the grammar of your essays, but she does not do the job for you. As a result, you will end up with an essay that is truly yours, that reflects your character and values and that has your ideas and writing style. For all of these reasons, I would strongly recommend the services of "myEssayReview". Good luck with your applications.
