Student success and well-being are at the heart of what I do. Being part of my students’ journeys—mentoring them, offering strategic guidance, and lifting them up when the application process feels overwhelming—has filled my days for over a decade.
My happiest moments are when we celebrate their success on Zoom calls. What made my most recent celebration truly special is that it happened in person, with my mentee, Tanu Sharma.

To mark the occasion, Tanu flew from Connecticut to Phoenix for an in-person celebration with the MER team, including my husband, who is MER’s business manager.
